Other Questions

Q. Do I need to purchase a Quilt-EZ stylus or will the stylus that came with my machine work?

A. The Quilt-EZ stylus is precision made to fit exactly in the groove of the template. Other stylus's may fit, but you will most likely have wobble because the stylus doesn't fit exactly.

 Q. How many continuous templates do I need?

A. We would recommend having at least 2 continuous templates. This way when you finish your first template and begin your second you can jump the first template to the other side of the second template. It is possible to slide one single template down the table, but it does take a fair amount of time to line up the design after.

Q. How big are the diamonds?

A. The diamonds are 1 1/4 inch tall and 2 1/8 inch wide

Q.What is the spacing on the Baptist fan?

A. The distance between circle centers is about 8 inches (7.9 inches to be exact)

Q. What size are the circles?

A.The circles range from 1/2 inch to 11 1/2 inches in 1/2 inch increments

 Q.Is the circle template continuous?

 A. No.  After completing one circle the stylus will need to be raised to move to another circle.

 Q. Is the spiral template continuous?

 A. Yes, to an extent.  The spiral is continuous.  Upon completion of the spiral the stylus will need to be raised and the template moved to the next desired location.

 Q. What are the templates made out of?

 A. The templates are made from an industrial strength plastic that we found to be very durable.

 Q. How thick are the templates?

 A. 3/16 inches

Q. How deep are the grooves?

A. The grooves are 1/16 inch deep

Q. Will the templates work with any stylus?

A. No.  Our templates grooves are slightly smaller than most stylus designs.  The templates would be harder to use, if useable at all.

 Q. How big are the panels?

A. The Long-Arm panels are 13 1/2" x 24" the Mid-Arm panels are 10 1/2" x 24" and the Short-Arm are 6 1/2" x 24".

 Q. How do they stay on the table?

 A. We include a special non-slip backing that prevents the templates from moving when placed on any bare surface.

 Q. How do the templates hook together?

A. The templates connect together with special clips included with each order.

 Q. How much do the templates weigh?

 A. A two foot section weighs less than 2 lbs
